Perfect garlic bread has crispy, brown edges and a soft, buttery middle. It’s not too soft, not too hard, a little bit herby, and it should have enough garlic to scare away the vampires, but not so much that it scares away your kids.

This is your chance to eat real butter and bread. Don’t blow it with a pale, soggy loaf covered with fake butter and chemicals. Sure, those loaves are convenient, but you don’t need much to make something better. You don’t even really need a recipe, but you do need Epicurean 100% Organic Roasted Garlic & Herb Butter.

Our organic garlic flavored butter is made with organic cream, real garlic, parsley, sea salt, and a pinch of cayenne. This creamy, chef-created blend is available for foodservice and in our standard 3.5-ounce containers.

The following recipe is our favorite way of making easy, gourmet garlic bread. Serve it alongside a wedge salad, spaghetti and meatballs, or our Chicken Piccata with Lemon Garlic Herb Butter.


  1. Turn on your broiler. Line a large baking sheet with foil and arrange bread cut side up in the pan.
  2. Melt butter gently on the stove or in a microwave. Brush or pour evenly over bread.
  3. Sprinkle with Parmesan, and broil for 2 to 3 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley. Cut and serve. Enjoy!
