Toasted Caprese Sandwiches are a tasty appetizer or a refreshing lunch.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place sliced bread onto baking sheet. Place in oven and lightly toast for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Remove bread from the oven and liberally spread Epicurean Butter Tuscan Herb Flavored Butter on each piece while the bread is warm. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble sandwiches and serve immediately.

Optional: Add a small grilled chicken breast or baked ham to make it a meal. Consider super-stacking your sandwich by adding one additional piece of mozzarella, basil, tomato, and bread. Instead of toasting in the oven, you could choose to warm the bread on a grill.
