May 04, 2007 -- Twenty-nine categories were judged in the 35th Annual Product Awards Competition which took place in April at the NASFT offices in New York City. Eight judges — including specialty food retailers, supermarket buyers, natural food merchants, chefs and culinary educators — tasted and/or analyzed nearly 2,900 products from 1,466 total entries.

The finalists for the 30th category — Outstanding New Product 2007 — will be chosen in June.
